Add Samuel Stroup born 1804 he married Hannah Hall (1810-1871) she
died in Elkart, IN as did George. They emigrated to Elkart in 1836.

George died between 1843 and 1845 and is buried along side of Hannah.
Issac and Henry left for the gold fields of California in 1849 and 1850.
Henry Burdett Stroup, my great grandfather, lived in El Dorado, CA until his
death in 1898. If you would like further information on the Stroups go
to Diana Mathieson's web page. She has the history of this Stroup family
going back to 1640 in Germany. Hannah moved back to Macomb after
George's death and lived with her brother (Issac Hall) for a while and then
moved back to Elkart.
